*John 12:1-8
Luke 10:39 “And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.”
John 11:32 “Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, ‘Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.’”
John 12:3 “Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.”
2 Samuel 24:24 “Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.”
John 12:4 Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said,
Mark 14:8 “She has done what she could. She has come beforehand to anoint My body for burial.
2 Corinthians 2:15 “For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.”

Communion: At the Last Supper, Jesus broke bread for his disciples to eat and passed around a cup of wine for them to drink, saying, “Do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19-20).
The bread symbolizes Jesus’ body broken on the cross, and the juice symbolizes his blood shed for the forgiveness of sins. This act is not just a ritual, but a time to remember Jesus’ sacrifice, to be grateful, to reaffirm our love, and to renew our commitment to live for Jesus. It is an invitation for all believers in Jesus to participate and experience the love and grace He gives.
